Links Cup Teams

(all members in good standing are eligible to represent their country of birth (or choice)) – In the Links Cup format, one team will represent and play for South Africa and the other team will represent and play for “the World” Note: It was amazing how many participants were from Ireland last year! As in previous years, both events will kick off with Flag Raising! At the Links, Anthems will be sung and team parings for the first rounds of play will be announced on Friday night (18 Nov) in Jack’s Bar.

The Presidents Cup and Links Cup run parallel to promote great camaraderie in a fun-filled and competitive environment. Enjoy the energy of the Presidents Cup While the Presidents Cup features matches with teams of 12 each, there is no limit to the number of players in the Links Cup. The basic Entry Fee for the Links Cup is FREE. The Club will provide welcome snacks for all who are attending the Opening Ceremonies, our very supportive member, Colin Higgins will once again supply our fantastic medals, other prizes are not needed as we will be playing for the gold medal and pride- and the Prizegiving Lunch following play on Sunday is optional (yet, encouraged for all participants, family and friends).
