When Santa’s away the elves will play!

Jeff and Liezl are away for a much deserved rest and have handed the writing duties over to me this week.

The most perfect South African weekend!! We watched the Springboks annihilate Fiji, we hosted a charity golf day for a very worthy cause in which over 150 golfers played, the weather was perfect, the golf course was perfect and somewhere in between it all the Aussies lost!

Certainly a great weekend in my book!

Jeffrey's Bay Pet Rescue is an organisation who currently feed and/or medicate over 500 cats and dogs in the Jbay region under the care of three fantastic ladies, Irma, Cindy & Michelle. Saturday's golf day was to help raise funds for them; we managed to raise over R 30 000 through entry fees, the after-golf auction and sponsorships on the day. On their behalf I would like to thank all of you who participated and contributed to making the day the huge success it was. To top the day off Helen Bridges and Gill Hammond won the top spot!! Well done ladies!!

No need to stay away anymore! The golf course has fully recovered from the recent hollow tinning and is in better shape than ever. Compliments to Charl and his team!!

Our Leisure Centre is progressing nicely, tillers are just about finished and painters have started going, ceilings should be in by the end of the week and we should have a fibre lining on the pool by next week.

Very exciting stuff! For those of you that are unaware, the pool will be heated and fully enclosed by a retractable cover. On a nice day we can slide it off the pool and on every other day you can enjoy an indoor swim. Have a look at the pic of the cover.

Regards,

Ryan
