Membership Information
Membership at St Francis Links
Membership at St Francis Links is based solely on the ownership of land.
Principal Members
Principal members (the primary land owners) will be treated and recognized as the full voting members of the property and will have the highest standing in the club. Principal members will have preference with regard the use of the club facilities and course. Principal members may choose to add their spouses and family over and under the age of 21. St Francis Links is proud to be one of the few clubs in South Africa and the world to offer full use of the facilities for children, with an option for continued membership once they turn 21.
Corporate / Fractional Membership
This category of membership is perfect for the corporation or small business that would like to offer something truly special for their partners or designated special employees and clients. After naming the principal (voting) member of the property, up to 12 additional fractional principal members may be added. All members will carry principal member status and all qualify for all full-member benefits. Fractional principal members in residence will have preference in booking tee times over fractional members not in residence.
Gold Members
Property owners may choose to offer their property for use by friends and/or clients. Access to the course and facilities will be best achieved through the purchase of a special membership, giving their guests membership for the day/stay. Gold members will have access over all other visitors. However, they will play on a space available basis at a member’s accompanied guest rate. Gold members are not allowed to bring guests and have no voting rights. This category of membership will be limited in numbers.
Visitors - Guests of Members
As St Francis Links is primarily for the use of its members and their guests, visitor play is limited to specific days, times and only when space is available. Seasonal rates will apply and prepayment is requested.
Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions apply to all types of membership, except junior members under the age of 21 years.
We would like to keep our members updated on progress at the Club, as well as future developments, events and packages. We therefore ask each of you to either
- Fill out the online membership update form, or
- Print the Update Form and return it by e-mail to Chris-Mari Strydom at golf@stfrancislinks.com
