St Francis Links Golf Bookings
Members and their guests:
Primary access to the amenities at St Francis Links is through property-owning membership. Certain days and times for golf will be blocked for member play only. Holiday periods are reserved for members and if space is available, their accompanied guests. Saturdays will also be reserved for member play first and competitions will be held on a regular basis. Members and accompanied guests may enter or play social golf if they so desire.
Tee times for member play may be booked in advance and if plans change, cancellations without penalty will be accepted up to 48 hours prior to play. Cancellation fees maybe charged on bookings cancelled within 48 hours of play.
Visitors:
At St Francis Links, we welcome enthusiastic golfers country and worldwide to experience Mother Nature’s incredible links land and Jack Nicklaus’ design expertise on a space available basis.
Visitors may book in advance, subject to availability. Within 48 hours, times still available and held specifically for member play may also be released for visitor play (first reserved, first served).

Important Notes on Booking Golf at St Francis Links
- We have a fleet of 65 brand new EZ-GO electric golf carts available. Bookings should however be made in advance, in order to avoid disappointment. Our carts come fully equipped with sand bottles, cooler boxes as well as a ball and club washer.
- Pull trolleys are also available for those who would like to walk the course, and also need to be booked when requesting your tee time. We do not offer caddy services at this time. We have the latest Mizuno clubs available as rental sets, for those players who do not travel with their own clubs. These should also be booked when requesting your tee time.
- Golf carts & halfway house will be for each player’s own account. Beverages may be taken on the course in the cooler boxes provided on the golf carts.
- Rates are subject to change without prior notification
- Please note that the maximum handicap for men on the course is 24 and for women 36. Should your handicap not fall within these, we will only accommodate you in the afternoon after the field for 9 holes.
- When booking, please provide us with all players’ names, handicaps and pairings.
- We offer a complimentary shoe cleaning service and lockers can be used subject to availability. Soft spikes are compulsory.
Cancellation Policy:
In order to confirm a golf booking, full credit card details must be advised. Until such time, the booking will be provisional and is subject to automatic cancellation.
If a booking is cancelled more than one week prior to play, no cancellation fee will apply. Should a booking be cancelled within 48 hours of play, the full playing fee will be debited to the credit card details provided.
Should a “no-show” occur on the day of play, the full visitors playing fee will be charged and payable. In the case of rain on the day of play, kindly contact golf co-ordination on 072 210 7243 / 082 776 3069 in order to cancel the booking and to avoid cancellation charges.
St Francis Links is primarily for member play, offering referred access to visitors on a space available basis. In order to accommodate our members and their accompanied guests as best we can, the following information will assist us and ensure that you enjoy the best day of golf:
All members in good standing will be allowed to book tee times based on the following terms:
- Members may play every day, on a space available basis and with tee time reservations made in advance.
- Please book early to avoid disappointment. We will have a waiting list in place when tee times are fully booked.
- Members may bring three accompanied guests for golf, once every third day, on a space available basis.
- Should members tee times not be booked within 48 hours from the actual day of play, they will be released for visitor play.
- Guests visiting members over the holiday season will be allowed one game per visit.
Cancellation Policy:
We require members and visitors to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of play, should you decide not to play on a certain day. In the event of late cancellation, you will be liable for a cancellation fee of full visitor rates. Thank you for your co-operation.
